About me
I am a biologist interested in the underlying mechanisms that determine behaviour and the effects this has on population dynamics and evolutionary processes.
My research, carried out in the field and in the laboratory, focuses mainly on the behavioural variability of solitary and social insects. I have studied the variability between phenotypes and species and how responses and behavioural patterns vary according to early experiences, male harassment and environmental changes. So far, I have studied a total of 21 species and worked in collaboration with more than 30 researchers from around the world.
I am currently studying the behavioural variability and adaptation of invasive species at the Museum and Institute of Zoology (Polish Academy of Sciences) in Warsaw. I am open to collaborations and I love teamwork, so please feel free to contact me.
